Is Silver-Ionized Water Safe to Drink? The Definitive Answer with Regulatory Evidence

The consistent message: 100 ppb is the accepted safe upper limit, and it is set as an aesthetic (cosmetic-effect) guideline rather than a hard health-based limit. Lifetime exposure at the WHO drinking-water guideline of 100 ppb delivers roughly 76 mg total silver — about 2% of the argyria threshold.
