For most water damage and industrial humidity problems, a standard industrial dehumidifier at 50–200 L/day is the right tool. What "decant" means in dehumidification
In refining, "decant" describes the separation of liquid from solid by continuous overflow. In dehumidification, the term has come to mean a unit engineered for continuous large-volume condensate discharge without an internal reservoir. A standard industrial dehumidifier at 150 L/day has a modest internal drainage system that pushes condensate to floor drain. When do I need a decant unit vs a regular industrial dehumidifier?

Below 150 L/day, a standard industrial dehumidifier is usually more cost-effective.
Can I run a decant unit outdoors?

Is the condensate safe to discharge to sewer?
Yes. Dehumidifier condensate is essentially demineralised water with slight trace dust. Local pollution-control norms generally permit sewer discharge without treatment. For sites with specific prohibitions, we supply an optional coalescing filter.
Can decant units run in cold storage or refrigerated ambients?
Yes, the hot-gas defrost variant works reliably down to 5 °C. Below 5 °C, use a desiccant-wheel variant instead — refrigerant-cycle efficiency drops sharply below that temperature.
